Authentic ones are obtained from the Vatican's Office of Papal Charities and are embossed with a Vatican stamp and signed by the Archbishop responsible for this office. Unfortunately, obtaining Papal Blessings for those living outside of Rome is difficult, time-consuming, and fraught with risks of typo's, and unreliable mail systems.
